RAM 1500 EXPRESS BLACK EDITION PRICED FROM $124,990 IN NEW ZEALAND

Ram Trucks New Zealand has announced pricing for the new 1500 Express Black Edition.

Starting from $124,990, this model now represents the entry point to Ram Trucks’ local line-up. 

It’s powered by the 3.0-litre twin-turbo “Hurricane” engine which produces 313kW and 635Nm of torque. 

This is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a part-time four-wheel drive system as standard. 

Ram notes that while this engine features a smaller displacement than the Hemi V8, it makes more power and torque. 

Standard equipment includes the Mopar sports performance hood, side steps, black mirror caps, black door handles, black badging, black grille, black headlights and black 20-inch wheels.

“Ram has always been about strength and attitude, and the Express Black Edition takes that even further,” said Todd Groves, General Sales Manager of Ram Trucks NZ.

“Bringing this model to New Zealand for the first time, at this exceptional price point, along with RAM’s outstanding towing capacity of up to 4500kgs, is a milestone for us, and we can’t wait to see it on Kiwi roads.”
