Payload and Towing Guide

YOUR GUIDE TO PAYLOAD AND TOWING REQUIREMENTS

When it comes to heavy loads and towing, understanding your RAM's capabilities is crucial. At Ram Trucks New Zealand, we prioritise safety and compliance, ensuring that you are fully informed about the engineering limits of your vehicle and your responsibilities as a road user. Each RAM variant is designed with specific maximum allowable payloads, towing capacities, and combined weight limits, all of which interact with each other and observing these maximums is essential for maintaining the vehicle's integrity and ensuring legal compliance.

Operating your RAM within these Towing Limits is not just a recommendation; it’s vital for your safety and the safety of others on the road. Exceeding these capacities (whether individually or in combination) can lead to serious risks, including personal injury, vehicle damage, and financial loss. Our comprehensive guidelines will help you be aware of the complexities of payload management, towing capacities, and weight distribution, and give recommendations on how you can carry and tow securely and responsibly.
